Reaching a critical mass of your target audience is key to a successful campaign. With the release of our new publisher portal, we make it easier for brands to discover premium publisher inventory that’s available for activation on Decentriq, and connect their first-party data to run campaigns, in one straightforward flow.

Brands can create audiences with maximum reach and minimum effort

A central goal of this release is to reduce time to activation by combining the processes of engaging publishers into one smooth workflow. Brands can pick their publishers, choose a clean room for their desired purpose — lookalike prospecting, retargeting, or insights — and securely connect their first-party data to build that audience.

The platform also tests the data that the brand submits to make sure it will successfully match with a publisher and makes recommendations if it needs fixes, for example in data format or column labelling. Brands can even do test matches with a publisher to check match rate before moving to a full engagement.

Through the same workflow, the brand can add new publishers to extend the reach of a campaign and contact Decentriq Ready publishers to activate a campaign with a clean room or to request a custom analysis.

Publishers are more discoverable than ever

For publishers, the new portal is an opportunity to be discovered by brands and tap into increased demand for first-party campaigns. Publisher logos show up prominently in the brand’s activation workflow, and the brand can directly select which regions and publishers they’d like to add to their campaign.

The publisher has full control over the data they make available and how their inventory can be used. During setup, they can configure whether insights, retargeting, and/or lookalike targeting are possible and which brands or markets will have access to which activation options on their properties.

A smoother shift to the first-party future

With the ad world shifting away from third-party data and towards first-party data as the basis for campaigns, we aim to make the transition smoother for brands and publishers in the European market and beyond. Making sensitive data easier to use — while protecting its privacy to the strongest possible degree — will continue to be our purpose.
